I couldn't find any books for prior to 1854. Evidently, this is because
this particular section of Locust Township was part of Montour County from
1850 to 1853. There are no entries for Stephen (or Charles or Mary) after
1882. Stephen died in 1882, but his widow survived until 1896.
Stephen's Pension File contains quite a bit of information, including
marriage certificate, affidavits giving date of death, financial history
and illnesses.
