- LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ELIZABETH LEACH -
Last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Leach Deceased
I, Elizabeth Leach of Lavelle in the County of Schuykill and State
of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding do make and
publish this may last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void
all prior Wills by me at any time heretofore made. And First I
direct that my funeral be conducted in manner corresponding with my estate
and situation in life and that all my just debts and funeral expenses be
fully paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
As to such estate as it hath pleased God to entrust me with, I dispose of
the same as follows, viz: that it be divided into seven equal shares of
which my son Joseph Leach shall have two shares and my sons Charles Leach
and Frank Leach, my daughter Harriet Yohe and my grand-daughters Mary
Wetzel and Elizabeth Wetzel shall have one-seventh each. And I
hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my son Frank Leach Executor of this
my Last will and testament. In Witness, Whereat, I, Elizabeth Leach
the Testatrix, have to this, my will, written on one sheet of paper set my
hand and seal this 2nd day of August A.D. One thousand nine hundred and
sixteen. her

last Will and testament, in the presence of us, who have hereunto
subscribed our names at request as witnesses thereto, in the presence of

Register of Wills of Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, do hereby deputize
and commissionate Thomas Beynin, Register of Wills of Lackawanna County,
Pennsylvania, to take the affidavit of Will Leach and Mary Leitzel as
subscribing witnesses to the Last will and testament of Elizabeth Leach,
late of the Township of Butler, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, Deceased.
Said Will bearing date the 2nd day of August, A.D. 1916 and hereinto
attached, by virtue of the Act of Assembly approved July 11, 1917, P.L.
803. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
my Official seal this 7th day of August, A.D. 1919.

August 14 - 1919 Examined August 19, 1919 Decedent died Oct. 8, 1918 Died
from Apoplexy (Cerebral) (suffered from it for 6 years) and was paralyzed.
Informant on death was an E.S. Fetterman (relative?) of Light Street.
