Was a 'puddler' in early censuses. Only person in grave. Death certificate
states he was divorced; however, the obituary refers to his surviving wife.
It is possible that he was divorced, considering how the Flanagans wrote up
the obituary for Charles E. Yohe.

Obituary for William Flannagan
W. Flannagan Dies at Age of 84
William Flannagan, 84, 1669 North Wilton Ave., West Philadelphia, a
resident of the Green Ridge section for 60 years, died yesterday morning at
North Center Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Ireland, Mr. Flannagan was the son of the late Charles and Margaret
McManus Flannagan. Up until his retirement he was the proprietor of
Flannagan's Cafe. He was a member of St. Gregory's Church, West
Philadelphia.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bina Flannagan; two daughters, Mrs. Catherine
Friedel, Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. helen Marciano, this City; three sons,
Daniel, Philadelphia, with whome he resided the past year; Robert, Avenel,
N.J., and William, New York City; a sister, Mrs. Helen Yobe (sic), this
City; a brother, Joseph, Troy, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be from the John Durkan Colonial Home, 238-240 Adams Ave.,
this City, at a time to be announced. friends may call after 7 p.m. today
and thereafter from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.
