would indicate arrival circa 1884. Was in the Army. He died intestate at
the NY Athletic Club. Was separated. Believed poisoned but not autopsied.
Death Certificate says parents' names were Christopher and Catherine
(Gieges), but marriage certificate would be more accurate.
